For more than 30 years, WMPR, under the leadership of Charles Evers, has been a vital resource and the voice of the community. Today, WMPR still flourishes and holds to its guiding principles serving as a global voice empowering and encouraging community outreach, free speech, and creative programming.  We believe the fabric of our community is stronger when all members have an opportunity to express their diverse interests, concerns, and point of view. Our station stands ready to serve the state of Mississippi and beyond bridging the gap between diverse listening audiences.
